Meet the Founder
During a chaotic and challenging period in my life, books became my sanctuary—a place to escape, heal, and immerse myself in a story. In 2025, I created For The Plot with the intention of providing that same refuge for others. My goal was to help people rediscover (or discover for the first time) the joy of reading, explore new authors and stories, engage in meaningful conversations, and build genuine connections with fellow readers.
For me, For The Plot is more than just a passion for books; it's about fostering community and connection. It’s about creating a space where there’s always another story waiting to be told.

We have virtual discussions on the last Sunday of each month through the BFF app. We also meet in person at least once every quarter.

We have read and are open to many genres (romance, mystery, fantasy). Our main goal is to always prioritize BIPOC authors.
